Once again I have been talked into doing the ROCAN charity ride again this year starting on 2 March.
This year, the event will take place in Tasmania. Starting from Launceston, we ride to Devonport, Penguin, Beauty Point, Bridport, Scottsdale and then back to Launceston.
It is a 7 day ride and my goal is to complete 700km (ie average 100km a day).
The ride is organised through the Rotary Club of Williamstown to raise money for its charity called ROCAN.
This year ROCAN is raising money to support Ovarian Cancer Australia (OCA). The funds will support OCA’s telehealth program, where women suffering from ovarian cancer anywhere in Australia can telephone or video call nurses, support workers, doctors by appointment, psychologists and other clinical service providers from the comfort of their own home. For more information see attached flyer or click on www.ovariancancer.net.au
If you can assist with a donation, then it will be greatly appreciated.
Well done Brad from your fellow Rotarians.
